FREQUENT ASKED QUESTIONS

Q - Can my ceremony be customized?
A - Once we have confirmed availability for your date, I will be happy to schedule a meeting with you by phone/facetime to go over my "typical" ceremony and identify how we can customize it to reflect your personality and values.
Including: lei exchange, sand ceremony, honoring of parents/grandparents, to name a few.

Q - Do you have suggestions to make my wedding unique?
A - During our initial meeting, I am happy to make suggestions of some of my favorite locations, wedding traditions, wedding planners, photographers, musicians, etc

Q - How far in advance should I book an officiant?
A - The sooner the better! I take bookings up to 12 months in advance.

Q - Any advice if we are planning to elope on Hawaiʻi Island?
A - There are so many beautiful locations on the island and traditions to include in your ceremony after you both  identify what is most important to you as a couple. Take some time to think about it first, and then letʻs talk and discuss the many options available.

Q - Can family participate?
A - Yes! Involving your ʻohana and honoring your family members is encouraged.

Q - What if it rains?
A - Although rain is considered a blessing in Hawaiʻi, letʻs work together to change locations or timing so that you are most comfortable.
